About Me.

IMG_3479_edited.jpg

I grew up in South Boston, VA, where I learned the value of resourcefulness, purpose, and community. This mindset shaped my service in the U.S. Coast Guard and my approach to design. Over eight years in the military, I led operations and managed sensitive communications systems, developing a deep respect for precision, planning, and security.

That experience now fuels my work in UX and digital systems design, where I focus on building tools that are not only user-centered but also secure, scalable, and grounded in real-world use. Whether I’m integrating APIs, automating workflows with Power Platform, or designing end-to-end solutions for business and government, I always prioritize clarity, impact, and integrity.

I’m completing my Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction and UX, with a growing focus on secure design systems and human factors in industrial & cybersecurity. My goal is to work at the intersection of UX, operations, and security, bringing together usability and mission assurance to solve meaningful problems.

A key milestone during this degree was presenting a portfolio of work in a 4th year exhibition, which required balancing creativity with technical execution and collaboration. These skills have become invaluable in creating aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly designs in my current work as a UX professional.
